Property advisor Savills has appointed Julian Harbottle to head up Bristol?s development team and spearhead the company?s expansion into a growing regional market. The announcement follows three new appointments in the last six months making it the fastest growing development team in Savills? Bristol office.
Commenting on this expansion, Julian says: ?The team has doubled in the last three years to 13 people which is testimony to their excellent work, a strong track record and reflects a robust property development market in the region.
?Our aim is to continue building on our existing areas of expertise and expand our strategic business. We are aiming to double the team?s turnover in the next five years, which already accounts for a healthy 20 per cent of the overall turnover of the Bristol office. This is an exciting time for the team and I?m delighted to be playing a key role in driving it.?
Savills is already market leader in the sector, advising clients on development opportunities through to the letting or sale of a completed project.
Clients include some of the largest landowners in those areas including the Welsh Assembly Government, the South West of England Regional Development Agency and BP.
Major projects in Bristol include Temple Quarter, St Mary le Port and Burges Salmon although the team?s work reaches as far as Gloucestershire, Somerset, Swindon and South Wales.
